I have been buying and pouring over these issues for years; it is one of my favourites. The pattern directions are always tried, tested and true and the best part is that every issue has a section near the back dedicated to basic directions... including cutting, piecing, quilting and binding.While I don't often use other designer's patterns for my work, I do enjoy seeing new designs, especially in regard to use of colour.
