Quilting workshops are an important element in growing as a quilter. Not only will you learn new skills from quilting instructors, you will also connect with like-minded people in every class that you participate in.
I have taken several courses over the years and I have always enjoyed the experience. My quilting today would not have progressed as far as it has without the helpful lessons from those I respect and admire. Why keep learning on your own, when you can learn from those who have made mistakes, learned from them and are willing to help you reach the next level in your stitching career.
Imagine a day, away from all your cares and worries, amidst a group of fellow peers learning more about your passion. Get inspired to try something you've never tried before... share some of your own ideas that maybe nobody else has done... live, laugh and make new friends.
The links below will take you to quilting instructors from all over the globe. They are listed alphabetically by surname. While the links are provided for you, you will really have to do some research on your own to find out if the instructor is teaching at a level you can understand and also teaching something that you are truly interested in. Not every teacher-student relationship is a match made in heaven. Read up on the teacher, read any references that are available and then find out if the class is an affordable one for you.
If instructors are not teaching in an area near you, but you really want to learn from them, then approach the instructor and organize a weekend getaway with a few friends or members of your guild. Usually the more the merrier and costs are better shared.
If you are an instructor and you would like to be listed on this page, contact Marcy via the contact page to make arrangements. A criteria for being listed is an up-to-date website with a link to your workshops.
