What are Quilting Blogs?
Quilting Blogs are web sites that share stories and photographs from quilters about their projects and lives. Some are written to be interesting to a small circle of specific quilters and some are written for the quilting community at large. Some chats are serious, some are funny and some are just great stories about ordinary people that make your heart-strings hum.
Although there are a lot of them out there, actually finding good ones on the internet can be fairly difficult. That is what this site is all about... I will list great blogs as I find them. All you have to do is visit here and choose. There will be a blog for every type of quilter you can think of. Once you find one that you like, bookmark it, add it to your favourites or join as a follower and keep track of what is new in their part of the world.
The blogs I tend to follow are often about art quilting and creativity in general, but I will try to watch for everything quilty when looking for quilting blogs. I am always inspired by how other people find ideas and time to quilt.
Recently I participated in a blog quilt studio tour and a blog quilt show. All I had to do was join the web site page that organized the event and then enter pictures of my studio and quilts for people to read on my blog. It was fun and very motivational to see other quilter's studios and latest projects.
